Description

Per diem days to work as needed. Performs moderate complexity and high complexity laboratory testing on clinical specimens (blood, urine, other body fluids and/or tissue). Works only in those laboratory sections consistent with the employee's State licensure. Participates in training of new staff and of students. Maintains adequate level of supplies to ensure continuity of laboratory activities. Capable of working without direct supervision. Work customarily involves any testing which may require a high degree of theoretical knowledge and technical expertise in licensed area(s). Assists students in the specific area for development of technical, clinical and problem solving. Performs additional duties as needed or assigned.

Current Florida License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Supervisor
