The Junior Managed Care Analyst is responsible for loading of managed care contracts, bookmarking and stamping, maintenance of the contracts database, reporting, and special projects as assigned. He/she will also perform auditing and review functions in support of the analysts' modeling and contract performance evaluations.
Knowledge of Excel, Lotus, other spreadsheet systems
Knowledge of Patient Accounting Systems
Knowledge in Managed Care or similar reimbursement area
Understanding of billing practices, specifically Revenue codes, CDM codes and ICD-9 codes
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Four year bachelor's degree is preferable, but related managed care contracting and/or billing/collection experience in a hospital and/or managed care payor setting, or 5-plus years of relevant experience, will be considered in lieu of a degree.
